The official countdown reads 11 days 7.5 hours and I will be a married lady! With the date coming nearer emotions are running high...mine and others. I can't help but try and make sure that everyone is taken care of and no one is feeling left out or otherwise. Today I realized that it may be out of my control. And that I cannot stress about.
My wish and main goal of throwing this whole wedding is to provide an opportunity to celebrate Jason and I's marriage and to provide a time for friends and family to enjoy each other's company, see and hangout with people they haven't seen in a long time, meet new people and to have fun. That's it.
I don't want to look back at this time and remember who was hurt and who was happy.
I will post with more exciting and fun information and other tidbits but this has been weighing very heavy on me lately and I just need to clear my air at least! Stay tuned...onwards and upwards

lady...this day is all about you and if anyone is taking anything personally they need to check theirself and realize it's not about them. i had these same emotions when planning my wedding! don't stress too much. we can't wait to be there and think about you every day!
Ditto what Kristen said--this day is about you and Jas...and you must remember, you cannot please all of the people all of the time (or even most of the time)....so screw 'em. At least on this occasion. The only people who need to be happy and included are you & Jas (I typed Jaws and almost left it cuz it made me laugh) and the judge. Everyone else is icing on the cake. If you decide to have cake. :) Relax as much as you can...at this point, this wedding has taken on a life of it's own and things will happen, or not, as they will. Try to have as much fun as you can...and remember, the wedding is one day, the marriage is the rest of your life (that's the important thing).
Thanks again for having us over tonite...it was a lot of fun--and Zac's best thing of the day!
Oh, and can I say that it took me three tries to post my comment...apparently, I too, am foiled by the word verification! :)
Jess... listen to what Kim has to say, she is wise beyond her years... ok... well, she is like really old or something, so that may not be true...
Just kiddin Kimbo.
T-minus 10 days and counting. WOO HOO!
In the immortal words of Mills Lane, "Lets get it on!"
And I'll make sure SOMEONE LIGHTS THE CANDLES! :D
Ditto all of the above (except the comment about Kim being really old. I'd like to stay in the good graces of the mother of my two favorite people in the world.)
I think most folks are going to have a great time no matter what. Even when things go wrong, people will remember more of the fun they had with so and so. And truly, worst case, John always provides plenty of entertainment so you can count on that little nugget.
Can't wait!
Hello Bride-to-be,
Just wandered over to your blog and I just want to say that I am so excited for your wedding and am privileged to be your guest. I hope that everyone else in your life feels the same and realizes that this day is about you and Jason...period! It is awesome to be witness to the beginning of a new family and we're lucky to be a part of your memories. See you soon!

Today's the day, today's the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I'm a tool. We went to your wedding (beautiful!), but forgot to bring the gift (currently collecting dust upstairs on the counter). And now you're leaving on your honeymoon! I'll drop it off probably sometime end of the week of the 25th (confusing sentence). I'm thinkin you'll be back in town by then! Anyway..keep an eye out for it on your front porch!
Happy Honeymoon, Mrs. Haberman!
Congratulations Winkle (um..Haberman...nope sorry, you'll always be winkle to me!) I looked at some pictures from your wedding on Kristen's blog and you looked beautiful (as usual) and the wedding looked like such fun! Hope your honeymoon was wonderful!
Love you girlie!
