I've been kicked out!

...of the garage that is. Last Sunday we planned on watching the Oscars. One of the things I like to do is fill out ballots and see who guess the most correct award winners. So it was just Jason against me. I've done this numerous times before and never won and this year I haven't seen really any of the movies. I really should have rethought this. Anyways the bet was if Jason won he got a week of parking in the garage. And if I won he would wash and vacuum out my car. Well I lost...surprise. surprise!

So I'm outside, scraping everyday at 6:45am...it sucks! The good thing is come Monday my car will be snug back in the garage. I can't wait! For now you can all feel sorry for me.

Gorgeous!

I don't mean to brag (or maybe I do!) but my man bought me three dozen roses for Valentine's Day...yes three dozen! Anyways they are gorgeous and here is a picture of them taken tonight! Yes they have lasted over a week...and they still look sooo pretty! I love them and the sweet man who gave them to me!

Oh and here's a picture I took this weekend when I was scrubbing the kitchen from ceiling to floor. Goldy got a little worn out begging for food and just parked herself in her bowl. She cracks me up!

10 Questions

My lovely fiance posted on his blog the 10 Questions that they ask in the show "Inside the Actors Studio". Here is that specific post...http://jasonhaberman.com/index.php/2008/02/13/actors-studio-10-questions/
And here are my answers. Feel free to comment your own answers or post them on your blog!

1.) What is your favorite word?

I guess I'm a sucker for polite words like please, thank you (ok that two), sorry...they're always good to hear!

2.) What is your least favorite word?

Moist, Giddy, and Bubbles....now feel free to join the crowd that already torments me with them

3.) What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Easy...just being with Jason. Some how I can be all stress out and just sitting down with him, sometimes not even talking, I seem to calm down....kinda nice! Also music as well as pretty landscapes, and pictures...basically beauty.

4.) What turns you off creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

People who monopolize conversations, rude people, and for some reason dark super windy days can stress me out!

5.) What sound or noise do you love?

Opening anything vacuumed sealed. The noise of the garage door, cause I know someone is coming home. Ocean...definitely the ocean. Oh and I haven't heard it but I soooo want to, the sound of a huge glass jar of sauerkraut hitting the blacktop in the parking lot...oh that would be so cool!

6.) What sound or noise do you hate?

Music that is just low enough and far enough away that you can't recognize it....drive me bonkers. Clocks ticking are pretty bad...it's the repetitive sound.

7.) What is your favorite curse word?

I would say "shit" based on how much I use it. I like the phrase "metric shit ton" and a new one that popped out of my mouth recently was "shit fuck"...classy I know.

8.) What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

I've always had this dream of owning a flower shop....I would love that. Oh and maybe having a farm or a ranch...the idea of it seems great but I'm sure I wouldn't like it after awhile. My goal after graduating college with a degree in Video Productions was to make music videos. But I don't have tough enough skin for that...

9.) What profession would you not like to do?

I don't think that I would be a great teacher. I can't handle all the questions. Also anything dealing with trash or poo...no way!

10.) If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

I can't remember who actually said this on the program but I thought it was great. Something along the lines "Come with me, we'll sit down and talk about all the pain and suffering in the world and I'll explain why..."

Have a great weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day!

"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love. "
~Author Unknown

In the past I thought Valentine's Day was just a day that separated the "haves" and "have nots". Honestly, I really despised the day.

Now, well it's not too bad and any holiday that I get to celebrate what Jason and I have and get to spoil him a bit...I'm game.

So Happy Valentine's Day to All...however you choose to celebrate it!

I'm smilin' from ear to ear!

So since my uhh "roomate" moved in back in September the garage has been occupied with stuff. That wouldn't be a problem except that since I have a 1 car garage (which it's so tiny basically the car fits and that it) so that throws my car out in the driveway. With this winter being so rough it's been endless scraping and digging out my car most mornings. Not any more!!!

We spent most of Saturday breaking down boxes, getting rid of things, organizing things, hanging things just making more room for everything. But it looks so good! And I am just about the happiest girl in the world! We also hung our respective teams flags on the wall and our "House Divided" flag, good storage!

And also filled up the shelves that my "handy" man installed all by himself!
I think I'll let him park in there too, if he's nice!
Oh and he also made some homemade pizza tonight...yum!

Yeah, I'm spoiled! Life is good!

Few of my favorite things...

I've been pretty bad about keeping this blog thing up to date. Lately I've been keeping myself busy with tax season amping up at work and trying to get my butt to the gym as often as I can. I've been thinking about this post for awhile and it probably should have been one of the firsts. So those who don't know me, or those who have been MIA with me, or those who think you know me...in the words of Julie Andrews here are a few of my favorite things (in no particular orderish).

First and foremost of course my hunka hunka burnin love.

We met in September 2006, engaged December 2007 and getting hitched on August 16th, 2008! He's a wonderful man and I am so lucky to have met him...even though he is a stinkin' Bronco...but he does have street cred. He amazes me everyday!

Next up my lovely Goldy Girl!

I found Goldy just about 3 years ago at the Humane Society. She's no spring chicken...she's knocking on the door of 12 years old. She definitely tries my patience at times, is obessed with food, and is border line neurotic...but I love her! She is great with kids, doesn't care about other dogs and pretty easy going. She's starting to show her age more and more but she still has to have her walk everyday!

University of Idaho

I am a proud Vandal alumni. I love the time I spent up there and met many wonderful people that are a part of my life now. I love Idaho football...even though we suck for right now. I have faith that the tables will turn...."From the North came a tribe brave and bold!"

The Ocean

I love the water and try to get to the ocean at least once a year. Many of our vacations have been on the west coast. Santa Cruz, CA is one of my favorite places in the world (or at least what I've seen so far) and I was lucky enough to spend a whole week there last June.

U2

So yeah you could say that I am a super fan. I've seen them 10 times in concert, not one of them being in Boise! I have most every album and DVD they have. I hear they are finishing up on a new album...then it's time for me to hit the road!

A few honorable mentions go to running; I never thought I would like it but it's one think I absolutely love to do by myself...just me and the outdoors, power tools; I love 'em so, even though they hurt me sometimes and also a certain someone doesn't trust me with them, tractors; Amazing machines and again I've tried to get one but a certain someone think it's a no...whatever, trash tv; I love my reality/trashy shows and I set time aside each week to watch'em.

Well that should be enough for now. Hope I didn't bore you all!
